    80. Thomas1 Harris had a two-acre house lot, 1643. This house lot is now (1932) occupied by George A. Goodwin. He sold all his estate in Rowley, 1644, to Richard Holmes and Richard Bailey. He married in Ipswich, 15 Nov., 1647, Martha, daughter of John Lake of Ipswich. "Thomas Harris of Ipswich, 'seaman,' and Martha, his wife, by deed acknowledged 22 : 12 mo. 1654 [February 22, 1654/55], confirm the sale of 1644 to Holmes and Bailey of all estate in Rowley (Essex Deeds, 1 Ips.: 152). He died in Ipswich, 2 Aug., 1687. His will was dated 16 July, 1687 (Essex Probate). His descendants now (1932) reside in Ipswich."
