The birth records in Reading name the mother as Sarah, and the probate in Western identify the wife as Sarah. This source is clearly confused. On p. 10, Thomas [#15], b. 1683, m. 1726 Deborah Alden. On p. 11, b. 1695, m. 1721 Deborah Allen (on a date that exactly matches the recorded marriage of Thomas and Sarah Beal).]

    Will of "Thomas Duntin of Western ... Being Sick", dated 13 Dec 1757, proved 25 Jan 1758, mentions wife [not named], two sons Thomas and John ["their mother"], son Elijah, daughter Anne Foster, Daughter Elizabeth Mason, daughter Hipsaley Osgood. No executor nominated.
    19 Jan 1758: "the Subscribers have Nothing to Obgect [sic] against the will and Testament of Thomas dunten Late of Western", signed John Mason, Elisabeth Mason, William Osgood, Hepzibeth Osgood.
    20 Jan 1758: "I desiar the will of my Husband Thomas Dunton Desest may be established", signed Sarah Dunton.
    26 Jul 1758: Bond of Thomas Dunton and John Dunton of Western to provide for ye wife of ye Dec'd Thomas Dunton (viz't Sarah Dunton their mother) ... to pay to my son Elijah (viz't their Brother) ... to my Daughter Anne Foster ... to my Daughter Eliz'a Mason ... to my Daughter Hepzibah Osgood ...
