[Note: assumed to really be 1720-1 based on birth of child in Nov 1721.]

  2. Dunten/Dunton, 1644-1997, by Joseph Dunten, p. 12, includes a daughter Dorothy, b. 27 Apr 1729 in "Waterton". No further information, such as marriage or death date, is given. She is not mentioned in her father's will. The baptism record found in Weston VRs, says "April. 27. [1729?] I baptised at Natick. ... Dorothy Daughter of Thomas -- Dunton. at Watert'n West M.H." The Natick VRs, p. 36, say "DUNTEN, Deborah, d. of Thomas and Deborah, Dec. 26, 17-- (172-, T.C.). (bp. Apr. 27, 1729, C.R.)". Thomas and Deborah have at least one other birth in Natick overlapping this family. This suggests it is almost certain that the baptism belongs to a different couple, and should say Deborah, not Dorothy.
