"Dimon, Thomas. He settled early in Fairfield; was a mariner and ship-owner. Inv. 19 Oct. 1658, included a bark of twelve tons. Sons Moses and John over 14. Son Thomas apprenticed by Court to William Ward for five years [hence was prob. 16 in 1658] ; John was apprenticed to Maj. Nathan Gold until 21 yrs. old."
