Item first I give and bequeath unto my dearly and well beloved wife Mary Coleman during her Live in widowhood my plantation in case she Chooses to live on it, if not at her departure from it I give and ordain that my four boys immediately enjoy it or the rents thereof Peter Coleman, Thomas Coleman, Benjamin Coleman, Abner Coleman.
Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary Coleman one negro Man named Jesse? during her life and one Negro Girl named Dol during her life.
Item at the death of my wife I give and bequeath unto my two Daughters Mary Coleman and Sarah Coleman Negroman Named Jasper and one Negro woman Named Dol and her increase from this Date above mentioned.
Item I give unto my wife Mary Coleman four Cows and Calves adn two Stare? yearlings and one horse Named Louck? and one Mare Colt named Bonny And one sow and thirteen Shoals? which runs about the house and all my woods Invine? Item I give and bequeath unto my dearly and well beloved Daughter Susannah Powels son named Coleman Powel one Negro Man named Peter Jordain that the said Coleman Powel's father John Powel pay unto my son Isaac Coleman fifty pounds Current money of the State of North Carolina to be paid two years from this date above mentioned.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac Coleman one feather bed and furniture.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Dearly and well beloved Daughter Anner Coleman one Negro boy named Dannily Borh the 6th day of August 1790. one bed and furniture.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Dearly and well beloved son Peter Coleman One mare named Diment. And all my wearing Clothes.
Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary Coleman two saddles her riding Do and mine, One case and bottles And twenty Barrels Menks? Corn And all Short hogs Corn and tweve hundred pounds of Green Pork And five Eises? And one Ram during her life.
All the rest of my Estate to be sold at my Decease And the ballance after my Debts is paid to be Ewually Divided among my Children.
Item at the Death or marriage of my wife, I give And bequeath unto my four Sons Peter Coleman, Menan Coleman and Benjamin Coleman and Abner Colman ___ My plantation And all my land to be Ewually Divided Amongst them.
I do Constitute my Brother Benjamin Coleman, Shadrach Loften and Isaac Coleman My Executors of this my Last will and testament.

Then was the above Last Will & Testament of Thomas Coleman dec'd proved in Open Court by the Oaths' of Lawson Davis and Brittain King two of the subscribing Witnesses thereto agreeable to Law, and at the same time Benjamin Coleman one of the Executors therein named, Appeared in Court and Qualified as such agreeable to Law.
Ordered that Letters Testamentary Issued accordingly.
