- Cocke, Thomas: Legacy:
- Daughter, Elizabeth Cocke, 400 lbs., 3 Negroes, bed, etc.
- To son, Lemuel Cocke, Negroes at decease of his mother.
- To son, Thomas Cocke, all my land at Wintico and Mecherrin in Brunswick Co., stock, cattle, Negroes, etc.
- If my son, John die before he comes of age then the land at Wintico to son, Lemuel Cocke, and son, Thomas, land where I now live.
- To son, John, where I now live with several tracts adjoining same.
- Wife, Hannah Cocke.
- Written: 7 June, 1750. Probate: 18 Dec., 1750.
