Will of Thomas Byrn; Proved in Calvert County Court; written 6 Apr. 1755; probate 19 Nov. 1755

To Ellinor Byrn, my wife, Negro Man Morah and Negro woman Cloe. The children of the Negro woman shall from this date go to dau. Elizabeth Byrn, also Negro boy Jack to be delivered at at 16.
To Son James Kent Byrn, ₤35 and all my land.

Eleanor is given in the 21 Apr 1745 will of her father as "Eleanor, wife of Thomas Bryhn." Eleanor is given as Eleanor Van Swearengin in the 26 Jan 1758 will of her mother, Elizabeth Kent. Eleanor's two children, James Byrn and Elizabeth are mentioned by her mother, too. Joseph Van Swearingen was the exec of her mother, Elizabeth, and her brother, Absolum who died before his inventory 1 Mar 1759. All in Calvert County.
