Sometimes called Thomas Buckner of "Lake Farm" in Caroline County, Virginia, though Crozier wrongly identifies him as the son of Thomas Buckner, a son of Phillip Buckner of Louisa County, VA. He partly inherited his father William's farm and purchased the rest of it from his many brothers who had moved to Green Co., KY. The resulting transactions and related lawsuits are very helpful in identifying him. He apparently died between 1810 and 1820.
