    "19. Rev. Thomas Buckingham, son of Elder Daniel Buckingham, of Milford, and Mrs. Alice Buckingham, born March 1, 1761 [1670/71], graduated at Harvard College in 1690. He was subsequently ordained over the second Congregational church at Hartford, as successor to Rev. Joseph Whiting, who died in 1689. He died Nov. 19, 1731, in the fortieth year of his ministry, aged 60."
