- A Noncupative will of Thomas Bledson dec'd viz on the third day of October one thousand, seven hundred and ninety four, the said Thomas Bledson being bodily wounded by the Indians at or near Bledsoe's Lick and whilst laying in a state of despair he called upon Katy Bledson and said it was his wish and also his will that all his personal estate he then was possessed of should be equally divided among all his brothers and sisters viz Sally Shelby, Elizabeth Clendening, Rachel Neely, Susanna Penny, Isaac Bledson, Polly Bledson, Abraham Bledson, Henry Bledson and Prudy Bledson on which third day of October aforesaid the (crease in page) Thomas Bledson departed this life - sworn to me in open court, this sixth day of October one thousand Seven hundred and ninety four - The said Katy Bledsoe further maketh oath that the said Thomas Bledson's wish and desire that all his debts should first be paid.

Sworn to in open court, this sixth day of October one thousand seven hundred and ninety four. ___ ____ the said Joseph Evans further maketh oath that the said Thomas Bledson wish & desire that all (wrinkled page) first paid sworn to in open court.
