"Thomas3 Bennett, Jr., born presumably at Fairfield about 1665, was a weaver, and lived in the Compo section of Fairfield, which is now Westport. He married Sarah3 Hubbard, daughter of William2 Hubbard of Greenwich. She owned the Covenant at Fairfield Church, 31 Mar. 1695, and the first four children were baptized the same date. No probate of his estate has been found, and he appears to have disposed of his lands to his sons during his lifetime."
