Arman, Thomas - entered service 1777 in Botetourt County, Virginia; applied for Pension abt. age 69/70 in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1822 when wife was abt. age 60, & children: Nancy abt. age 30, Mary abt. age 28 (married), Harry, Thomas abt. age 22, Elizabeth abt. age 20; soldier granted Pension in 1824 & died 8/1831 in St. Francis County, Missouri; married 1787/88 to Charity _____, Rutherford County, North Carolina, who was born 12/13/1759; widow moved back to Kentucky after soldier died & granted Pension 1839 in Pulaski County, Kentucky; widow died there 2/14/1845, survived by children: Nancy, Mary & Henry, administrator of [her] estate being Charles Ashley; daughter Elizabeth married George Crump; daughter Mary born 9/13/1793 & married Charles Ashley who was born 1/23/1789; birth of Charles & Mary Ashley's children: Callaway 4/12/1811, Moses 7/17/1815, Thomas 5/24/1818, Cinsy 6/6/1820, Andy 4/8/1823, Susanna 1/1/1828, Elizabeth 4/2/1829.
