Thomas Abbott, son of Richard Abbott, was born in about 1753 in Culpeper County, Virginia. He married Mary Huffman, daughter of Solomon Huffman, 17 September 1782 in Orange County, North Carolina. They had six known children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and West Virginia.
