In the 1891 Census, St Stephens, Laucenston (Ref. RG12/1803), Thirza was 23 years of age, and married to William Squres, age 24, a railway labourer. Living with them were two sons, John squires, age 2 and William Squires, age 8 months. (also two boards, Williaim and Richard Dodge. Thirza states she was born in Corwall, Calstock and her sons were born in Beer Ferris adn Ilfracombe
