Facts and Events
There were more than one Perkins families in Warsaw in the 1820 census. Perhaps Theron was from there before he was in Otto. From Edwina Today, I was going through my East Otto Cemetery Book and the East Otto Obits along with the Catt. History Books - I found some more info on the Polly Perkins family. I also went through my East Otto Vital Records and found a couple things for you that I hope is helpful. Last Fall (2001) I went through the Town of East Otto Vital Records and the Otto Vital Records, and copied all things that pertained to My Families' "Basic" Surnames. I have two notebooks full of those notes. Polly Scovel and Theron had: Luman A. Perkins (E.O. Farmer) b) 12-12-1846 d) 2-18-1923 (buried in East Otto). (taken from E.O. Vital Records) son Chelson M. Perkins died August 13, 1874 (21y 1m 28d) son William C. Perkins died July 9, 1904 in Eddyville, NY. Civil War record: 154th Infantry Co. B - Sergeant enlistment Sept. 1864, discharged July 1865. His birth year is 1845, but I have two conflicting months (one June and the other October). Luman married Carrie Lincoln and their children I have found so far are:
On the 1860 census, their children are listed as William H. age 14
From the Gazetteer and Business Directory of Cttaraugus County, NY 1874-1875 Theron was in Inspector of Elections in the town of East Otto in 1854. References
