Ogemaw County Herald, West Branch, Ogemaw Co., MI April 1944 "Mrs Theresa Brick of Klacking Creek Buried on April 8 Theresa Brick, well known resident of Ogemaw for the past 60 years, were held last Saturday morning, April 8, at 10:00 o'clock, from St. Joseph's church at Klacking Creek, with Rev. Fr. Godfrey Lenzen officiating. Burial took place in the Klacking Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Brick died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Fritz, at Mt. Clemens, Wednesday April 5, following an illness of ten weeks. Her age was 86. She was born in Little Germany, Canada on January 8, 1858. Her husband, the late Louis Brick, died about eight years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Fritz, a son Joseph A. Brick, of West Branch; a sister Mrs. John Grossman, of Detroit; 17 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren,"
