  5. 5.0 5.1 NEHGR Vol. 163:11 (2009) says that he d. 10 Jan 1690/91 aged 88, Ipswich, citing Ipswich VR, p. 2:714. I’ve seen two scanned images of that page, and there is no Theophilus Wilson death, nor any death in 1690. The author also added the following as a footnote for his baptismal date instead of citing the parish register: "Theophilus Wilson was aged "about seventy-five years" on 26 June 1676, and "about seventy-nine years" on 24 March 1680[/1] (Records and Files of the Quarterly Courts of Essex County, Massachusetts, 9 vols. [Salem, Mass.: Essex Institute, 1911-75], 6:165; 8:32)."
