    "95. Theophilus Redfield, second son of Capt. James (23), son of Theophilus (8), … became a resident of Clinton, Oneida county, N. Y. His occupation was that of tanner. About 1810, he removed to Watertown, Jefferson county, N. Y. In 1815, he was a deacon in the church at Watertown, its form of government being then Congregational, and in 1821, when its form was changed to Presbyterian, he was chosen one of its eight ruling elders.
