A transcription of his will:

In the name of God Amen the fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord God one Thousand seven hundred and Twenty seven I Theophilus Breese of the parish of Newtowne in the County of Montgomery Tanner being weak in Body but of sound & perfect mind & memory praise be God doe make this my last will & Testament in manner following first I recomend my Soul to God that Gave it and my body to the Earth & for such Goods as God in mercy hath bestowed upon me I give & dispose in manner following Imprimis I give Devise & bequeath unto my son Lewis Breese all that messuage House & Garden with all its Rights members & apurtenance thereunto belonging situate in Newtowne wherein one Owen Morgan & his undertenants now dwelleth in as large and ample manner as he [...] now hold & occupy the same To have & hould unto my said son Lewis Breese and his Heirs for Ever item I give and bequeath and Devise unto my son John Breese all that other house of mine situate in Newtowne wherein one John Howells now Dwelleth together with all its rights members and appurtenances in as large & ample manners as the said John Howells now houlds the same To have and to hould to my said son John Brees & his Heirs for ever Item I give and bequeath unto Mary my beloved wife Interrest of a hundred and Twenty pouns (being debts due unto me) and all my houshold stuff to her onely use for the Term of her naturall life and after her Decease I give and bequeath all the said houshold stuff and the hundred & twenty pounds unto my two Daughters Mary & Margery to be Equally Divided between them item all the rest & residue of my Goods Cattle & Chattells I give and bequeath unto my sons Lewis and John and to my Daughters Mary & Margery to be Equally Divided between them share and share alike all my Debts being first paid out of my said stock and I doe nominate & appoint my two Sons Lewis Breese & John Breese Joynt Executors of this my last will and Testament I doe hereby revoke & disannull all former wills bequests [...] and I doe ratifie & confirm this to be my last will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & seal the day & year first above written the marke of Theophilus Breese (T)
