Theodosia Blinker was baptised on 31st December 1775 at Great Gaddesden in Hertfordshire, daughter of Joseph Blinker and his wife Hannah.
Theodosia married Jephtha Dean at Great Gaddesden on 6th April 1795. They went on to have six children together between 1795 and 1815, with their first child being baptised just six days after their marriage. Five of the children were baptised at Great Gaddesden, and the other at neighbouring Flamstead in 1813. There is also a marked gap between their third child in 1798 and their fourth in 1810, which may indicate that there were other children beside the six whose baptisms have been found. Their youngest child's baptism in 1815 notes that Jephtha was a bricklayer.
Jephtha died in 1840, aged 70, and was buried at Flamstead.
The 1841 and 1851 censuses both find Theodosia living with her daughter Abigail and her family at Cheverells Green in Flamstead. Theodosia was described as a straw plaiter in 1851.
Theodosia died at the age of 83, and was buried at Flamstead on 7th January 1859.
