- Theodore R. “Ted” Miller, 72, Windber, passed away Nov. 13, 2008, at home. Born Nov. 28, 1935, in Meyersdale, son of Guy L. and Anna O. (Staub) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; infant daughter, Lori; two infant brothers; and sister, Joan Goughenour. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, the former Mary “Mecca” Fedor; daughter, Sandy, wife of Mark Geiser, Dillsburg; grandchildren, Sam, Timmy, and Rachael. Also brother, Barry Miller, Jennerstown. Member Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Johnstown Area Shrine Club, Somerset County Shrine Club, Greater Johnstown Lodge 538, Jaffa Shrine, and Windber Moose Lodge No. 349. Retired from Bethlehem Steel and Johnstown wire technologies. Ted enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Merritt Edne officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Ted. Daily American
