Thelma I. Wolford, 82, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at the Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Burnell D. Reigle who died in 1983 and Clair W. Wolford who died in 1998. Born Dec. 21, 1921, in York County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Della S. (Krumrine) Rabenstine. Thelma was a very active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Hanover. She was a 1940 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover. Mrs. Wolford retired after several years as a sales clerk for various department stores in the Hanover area. She was also an Avon representative for 15 years. In her spare time, Thelma enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a loving and caring mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Thelma is survived by one son, Dennis J. Reigle of Hanover; one daughter, Rose Mary Zepp of Hanover, with whom she resided for the last six years; two stepdaughters, Linda Scott of Lancaster and Nancy J. Ashby of New Jersey; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles E. Rabenstine of Carlisle; and one sister, Kathleen M. Leinart of New Oxford. She was preceded in death by one son, David B. Reigle who died in 1967; one daughter, Judith A. Reigle who died in 1968; and two sisters, Geraldine M. Gross and Kathryn L. Lawson.
