Thelma Evelyn (Keegan) Shade July 17, 1920 -- Aug. 31, 2004 ------ Thelma Evelyn (Keegan) Shade, 84, formerly of rural Attica, Willard, and C lyde, now of White Tail Way, Norwalk, died Tuesday at Fisher-Titus Hospit al in Norwalk. She was born in Townsend Twp Vickery, to the now-deceased Don and Je ssie (Frederick) Keegan. She attended Townsend School and had worked at Ap ex in Sandusky. She had been self-employed as a wallpaperer and painter, a nd helped her husband with the farming. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, traveling and being a vend or at flea markets. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dalton Shade, to whom she marr ied April 8, 1961; sisters, Hazel Franks of Clyde and Viola (Keegan) Sche rz of Norwalk; brother, Leland Keegan of Vickery; and numerous nieces a nd nephews. She is preceded by brothers, Harold, Russell and Laurel Keega n, sister, Edna Gooding Cloud, and infant sister, Virginia Keegan. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. today at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S Ma in St., Clyde. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Catherine Ke egan officiating. Burial: Parkhurst Cemetery, Clyde. Memorials: Donor's favorite charity. |
