206. THADDEUS WHEELER, son of James (142) and Mary (Minot) [sic, an error by Wheeler, she was Mary Colburn as shown by her father's probate] Wheeler. Born at Bedford, Mass., Dec. 16, 1742. Married Oct. 17, 1769, Elizabeth Farmer. He was one of the pioneer settlers at Hollis, N.H., and was the tax list of Hollis "West Side" Jan. 1, 1775 as paying 5 shillings and 2 pence, the highest tax on the list being 19 shillings and 6 pence. He enlisted at the Lexington Alarm, April 19, 1775. He was Selectman 1788-89-90 and 1806-7-8. He was a farmer.
