Saturday, Nov. 28, 1987 ------------------------------------ "Motive saught in Beulah pair's Murder - Suicide" "By Phil Cole" The Pueblo Chieftain; Sheriff's officers still are seeking a motive in the murder - suicide of Teresa Sease, 34 and her husband of one month, Gary "Skip: Sease, 32, at their Beulah home Thursday night. They were found dead in a bedroom at 5657 North Creek Road. Sheriff's officers went to the home about 7:45 o'clock after receiving a call about a possible shooting. "It appears Sease shot his wife in the head, then shot himself in the upper body" sheriff's investigator Dan Corsentino said Friday. There were no signs of a struggle. No notes were found. We ars still looking for a motive" Preliminary autospy reports appeared to be somewhat at variance with the sheriff's account of the murder - suicide. Pueblo County Coroner Jim Kramer said each victim died of a gunshot wound to the head "There were no other wounds to either body" Kramer said Friday. Corsentino was not available late Friday to comment on the discrepancies in the two reports. Sheriff's officers spent Friday interviewing the couple's friends, relativies and coworkers, trying to reconstruct the events of the last week of their lives. Mrs. Sease's 10 - and 16 - year old sons from a previous marriage were in the house when the incident occured. They were not injured. "The older boy told me he heard shots, then took his brother to a neighbor's house and called his maternal grandfather, Ed Kagey" Kramer saifd Friday. Kagey lives in Beulah area. He apparently called the sheriff's office. The couple was married at their home in October. Mrs. Sease was a consumer loan secretary and seven - year employee of the United Bank of Pueblo. Sease was a self employed contractor. Bank President Craig Ockers said "She was a good employee, well - liked by her fellow workers. "Our sympathy goes to her family and loved ones."
