Person:Teresa Copola (1)

Teresa Copola was 3rd child of Charles and Rosa (Porto) Copola. She was born at home in Des Moines, Iowa July 18,1914. She graduated from Lincoln high school, in 1932. After graduating Teresa took care of her Mother, and her numerous cousins children, as well as her nieces and nephew. She also worked at Armour ( a chicken factory). She said that wasn't steady work. Her Mother died around 1932. She then lived with her sister Mary and her family.

In 1942 Teresa started nursing school at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines,IA. She graduated in 1945.

Teresa met Rosalvo Ted Green, and they were married in 1949. They raised 5 children in Des Moines Iowa.Teresa was a caring,loving Mother. She was always helping others. She drove all the kids in the neighborhood to activities. ( The Green' s had the most kids)

Teresa especially loved watching her boys play baseball.
