David , Known to all as Athol worked for the Post Master General's Dept (Telstra) as a telegraph linesman until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He became increasingly incapacitated until confined to a wheel chair. His hobbies had been caravaning, fishing and hunting until afflicted.
