- ↑ Ila remembers Torlief Kvalseth visiting their home in North Dakota. He was a cousin of her mother (Aunt Hebba). A Jackson family relative said he farmed out there for awhile. Ila will try to find out more next time she goes to North Dakota.
- ↑ The Jackson relative thought the uncle had a farm west of Sutton, ND , but I could find nothing in the recorded deeds in that area that could be it. If he lived west of Sutton, he might have lived in Foster County which is not very far west of Sutton. I would have to go to Carrington, ND to search those records and have not been able to do that yet. The only record I found in Griggs County, ND was of a Tollef O. Tollefson who filed a Homestead Patent #6017 on 9/14/1892 in Greenfield Township, Griggs Co., ND.
