Jerome H. Cameron, P. O., Norton. The subject of this sketch is a son of T. A. H. and Nancy Cameron, and was born August 7, 1845, in Saline county, Missouri. ... Mr. Cameron’s father was from east Tennessee, and came to Saline county in 1840. His grandfather, Daniel Thornton, came here in a very early day, and broke the first prairie land in the county.
