    Sijtske (Zuidema) Terpstra

    Mrs. W. Terpstra of Galesburg, aged 86 years and 6 months, died from Lagripe last Monday morning. The funeral services were held from the home of the deceased.

    Note: Sijtske Zuidema and Watsze Douwes Terpstra were married in Holland and came to U.S. about 1849-50. Located first in Lancaster, New York and were there about 5 years. Then they came to Marion Co. and lived out their lives there. They had 5 children, Douwe (Dow), Harke (Harry), Yetska, Pietje and John. She and Watsze are both buried in Graceland Cemetery north of Pella. Bhug
