... Died at Frances Smith's in Cooper County, near Palestine, on Saturday morning, 23 September 1848, at 7:00, of a chronic disease, something like consumption. Mrs. Jael (Kavanaugh) Woods, the consort of the late Rev. Peter Woods who died in 1825. She was the mother of 16 children and according to her own calculation, as made out in November 1845, she was the grandmother of 104 children, and the great grandmother of 91 children..." Children:
