Despite the fact that Ann, the wife of Thomas Wood, Susanna, the wife of John Toddand Mary, the wife of John Grant, were sisters, studying each of them separately and together has not solved their origin.

Mary (Grant) was sister of Ann wife of Thomas Wood, and of Susanna wife of John Todd, but the editor [Donald Lines Jacobus] cannot accept the conclusion that these sisters were daughters of William Hunt (The American Genealogist, 21:128-133), nor the statement of Mrs. Holman (The Pillsbury Ancestry, 1001) that Mary was Mary (Hunt) Todd.
