Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Kuns, 84, will be held in Grace Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with Dr. W.E. Tressel officiating. Burial will be in Elmore Cemetery. Mrs. Kuns, a lifelong resident of Sandusky CO, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.E. Lantz, 903 Ewing Street, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. For the last three years she had been bedfast, suffering from the complications of her advanced age. Children who survive are: Mrs. Lantz, Mrs. Ivan Fought, Mrs. W. Woonacott, all of Fremont, Harry Brunner of Antwerp, and Daniel Bruner of Delta, O. There are two step-children, Samuel Kuns, Jr., and Mrs. John Reed. Susan Auxter was born near Lindsey on Oct. 18, 1843. She was twice married, first to Charles Bruner. Five children were born, one of whom, Chas. F. Bruner, died in 1919. Following Mr. Bruner's death, she married Samuel Kuns, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Kuns lived many years near the Four Mile House, but about 20 years ago came to Fremont, where she has since resided with her daughter. She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church, having been baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith when she was a young girl. Mrs. Kuns was one of the best known residents of the CO, whose death will be widely mourned.
