Mrs. Wm. Crumrine died at her late home two miles east of Longton last Saturday evening about 5 o’clock after a long spell of sickness. Mrs. Crumrine was 71 years and 13 days of age at the time of her death. She was well known in this neighborhood and greatly loved and respected by all. She leaves a sorrowing husband and a number of children, all grown, to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the family residence last Sunday morning at 9:30 o’clock, Rev. Ben M. Powell preaching the sermon. The remains were followed to the cemetery by a large number of friends of the family who assisted in the last sad rites.
