MRS. HOWARD PHILLIPS Meyersdale Republican, November 23, 1967

 Mrs. Susan Phillips, 88, died Thursday, Nov. 23, in Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown.  Born in Meyersdale Sept. 1, 1879, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Susanna (Reiber) Lepley and was the widow of Howard Phillips, who died in 1951.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Stuart, Keego Harbor, Mich.; and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Stanton and Miss Eleanor Lepley, both of Meyersdale.  Funeral service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Sunday afternoon with Rev. William Cassidy and Rev. Victor Vogel Jr. officiating.  Interment was made in Union Cemetery.
