Widow of John R Imler and a lifelong resident of Osterburg and vicinity, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Ickes near Osterburg Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, she having been ill since May and her death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. She was the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Imler) Klotz and was born near Imler on Dec. 21, 1849. She was united in marriage with John R Imler on June 20, 1869, who died thirty years ago. To this union fourteen children were born, ten of whom survive, as follows: Herbert of Tiffin, O, Mrs. Margaret Brandt of New Enterprise, Martin, of Bloomsville, O, Mrs. Calvin Defibaugh, Mrs. George Ickes and Charles Imler of Osterburg, Elmer Imler of Hollidaysburg, Harry Imler of Helene, O, Mrs. Hattie Allison of Duncansville and Wm Imler of Mansfield, O. These step-children also survive: Mrs. Calvin Stambaugh of St. Clairsville, and David Imler of Bettsville, O, and three step-children, Albert, David and George, are deceased. One brother and one sister also survive, Franklin Klotz of Ridgley, Md, and Mrs. Rachel Walter of Freemont, O , and 32 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchidlren. She was a member of the Lutheran church at Osterburg for many years. Funeral services will be conducted in the church Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of her pastor Rev. C S Rudisill. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery at Osterburg.
