[p.6] Mrs. Susan Jackson Hannahs. DAR ID Number: 42012 Born in Avon, New York. Descendant of Capt. Stephen Jackson, of New Jersey. Daughter of Abraham Halsey Jackson and Fannie M. Connelly, his wife. Granddaughter of William Jackson, (b. 1788) and Susan Halsey (1794-1865), his wife, m. 1811. Gr.-granddaughter of Stephen Jackson and Nancy Burwell (1753-1809), his wife; Abraham Halsey and Nancy Beach, his wife. Stephen Jackson, (1744-1812), was captain of cavalry 1780, when the army was at Morristown. He was born and died in Rockaway, New Jersey.

On the 1880 census the family lived in Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York - Charles, Susan and Halsey.
