BURLINGTON — Mrs.. Sudie M. Coble, 74, of 3745-J Friendship-Patterson Mill Road, died Wednesday morning, March 8, 2000, at UNC-Hospitals in Chapel Hill from injuries received in an automobile accident.

A native of Surry County, she was the wife of Mr. William Fred Coble, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Joseph Fulk and Mrs.. Maggie Stuart Fulk, both deceased. She was a Methodist.

Survivors other than her husband of the home include two daughters, Mrs.. Barbara Qualls of Burlington and Mrs.. Patricia Davis of Gibsonville; a son, Mr. James A. Coble of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Bonnie Jo Coble Barnhardt; and sisters.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina by the Rev. Rainey Qualls Jr.., assistant pastor of Landmark Baptist Church.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5 to 7 this evening, and at other times at the home.
