Rev. Cady indicates that Maria was the wife of Van Steven Cofory, in 1712. Quote: "From Albany, dated August 11th., year of Queen Anne, A.D., 1712.... Maria Pootman, wyf of Van Steven Corfoy." This family may have went by the surname of Coffee at a later date.
