Steven Douglas, eldest son of Roger Hoyer and the late Sally (Crumrine) Hoyer, born July 14, 1957 and died July 12, 2013. Survived by loving partner and best friend DiAnn Lindquist, sister Laura (John Klug) Hoyer, brother Andrew (Kara Taub) Hoyer, and his beloved dog, Ginger, and preceded in death by sister Susan Hoyer. Also survived by Uncle Charles (Betsy) Crumrine and many cousins. Steve graduated with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1989 and received his Professional Engineer License after graduation. He was employed by CH2M HILL since 2001 and was highly respected in his field as Manager of the Power Piping Group in Denver, CO and the Chemical Piping Group in Spartanburg, SC. Steve loved to travel and experience everything life brought his way. Many of his happiest moments were spent on the river and he passed from this world from heart failure doing what he loved most.
