Steven Grant Crumrine, 41, of Grand Island, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center of Omaha.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Island. The Rev. Bev Minor will officiate.
Visitation will be prior to services at the funeral home.
Mr. Crumrine was born Dec. 16, 1960, in Grand Island to Lawrence and Lois (Kamper) Crumrine. He grew up in Grand Island and attended Grand Island Public Schools.
He married Laurie Mullen on Aug. 19, 1979, in Grand Island. The couple lived in Grand Island where he was employed by Bullet Weights Incorporated. He retired in 1997 due to poor health.
He was a member of the NHRA and was an avid drag racing fan who enjoyed racing his own Rail Car. He also enjoyed working on engines and riding and racing ATVs.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Steve Meyer of Grand Island; one son, Tyler Crumrine of Grand Island; his parents; and one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Cindy Crumrine of Cairo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Catherine Crumrine and Herman and Lydia Kamper.
