married Gertrude Sims - both from Anderson, Madison, IN. Then moved to Page, Cass, ND and farmed. They had 3 boys and 3 girls (Lyle, Arnold, Owen, Bess, Florence, and Ethel). When the children were grown, Gerty moved to Alexandria, Douglas, MN and worked for Mrs. Gold, who was bedridden. Doug moved there after a while. Gerty died there from cancer. Doug went to live with one of their sons. Both Gerty and Doug are buried in Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria, Douglas, MN - per Flo Baxter
