    The land that Stephen inherited from his father was sold in 1745: "1. Stephen Sulley to William Harris of Henrico Co., 81 acres in a deed for 180 acres, the remainder being 99 acres (783) Anthony Rapine adjoining: the 99 acres were made up of two parcels - one of 62 1/2 acres and one of 36 1/2 acres. Dated 19 November 1745 125 pounds.

    (It seems that Stephen Souillie sold his land in Virginia in November of 1745, then moved to Craven County, North Carolina, date unknown - Willie Pearl Swilley.

    IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN
    This 7th day of January in the Year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Six, I Stephen Swille being Weak and Low in Body but in my Perfect mind and memory and knowing that it is Appointed for all men Once to Die I make this my last will and Testament and Dispose of my Worley Goods which it hath Pleased God to Blef (Bless) me with as followeth Lend and Bequeath to my loving Wife Hannaple Swille one Negro Woman named Nan, one Negro Boy named Sambo, and Tom, a Negro Boy also all my Stock of Cattel and Hoggs and Horses and all my Household Goods of all sorts whatsoever I do leave her the Use of all the Above mentioned Estate During her Widowhood but at the Death or Marriage of my Loving Wife which ever shall happen first I Give and leave my Negro woman Nan to be Equally Divided between my two Sons Nicholas and Senas Swille and my Negro Boy Sambo I Give and Leave to be Equally Divided between my two Sons John and Stephen Swille and I give and Leave my Negro Boy Named Tom to be Equally Divided Between my two Sons Samuel and Solomon Swille and I Give and Leave Seventy three Pounds Six Shillings and Eight Pence Proclamation Money due to me from Mr. Wilcocks when Received to be Equally Divided between my Six Sons, Nicholas, John, Senous, Stephen, Samuel, and Solomon Swille and if the money above mentioned should not be Received and the Land on Crooked run Should Return to my Estate again, I likewise Give and Leave that to be Equally Divided between my Six Sons in Lew of Money before Mentioned and I Give and Leave four Head of Horses to be sold and the MOney Arising thereby to be Equally Divided between my Six Sons and my Stock of Cattle which now is I Leave to be Equally Divided between my Loving Wife and my Six Sons at the Day of Marriage and I leave the Land where I now live on and the Plantation I brought of Mr. Blackledge to be Valued and Equally Divided between my Six Sons when I Son Nicholas Comes to the Age of Twenty One and at the Death or Marriage of my Loving Wife Give and Leave three iron Potts and Two Guns to be Equally Divided between my Six Sons and I do Confer act and Appoint my Loving Brothers Zenas Parker and John Parker and my friend Willliam Isler my true and Lawful Executors of this my last will and Testament and In Witnef (Witness) where unto I have set my hand and fixed my Seal the day and year above mentioned.
