Disambiguation
CAUTION! There is another Stephen Senter (b. abt. 1732) that migrated from Virginia around the same time period (the mid to late 1700's), whose family also migrated to Tennessee. This other Stephen Senter is often refered to as "Stephen Senter of Bedford, Pittsylvania & Henry Counties, Virginia", and has no apparent relationship to this Stephen Senter, refered to as "Stephen Senter of Dobbs and Cumberland County, North Carolina", to distinguish between the two. Some internet genealogies have accidentally confused or combined them.
