I am seeking information about the father of Henry Senter that married Rebecca Avant. I have been told that his father is Stephen, thats all I know.
Henry was born 1760 in Cumberland NC and died 1823 in Green TN. Henry and Rebecca had a son named Drury Senter that married Mary "Polly" Mcclure. (story told by family legend that she is a descendent from Stephen Hopkins who came on the Mayflower?)would like some proof of that also.
Drury and Mary had a son named Steven Henry Senter that married Mahula "Hulda" Mullins. Steven Henry and Mahulda had a son named Isom Senter. He was my grandfather. He married Cosby Bentley.
I would like to know any information about the father of Henry and also about the legend of Mary "Polly" McClure. Any help would be appreciated and If I can be of any help to anyone, I'll be glad to share what I have.
