Rachel Sargent was a sister to my gggggrandfather Ephriam Sargent and they were children of Stephen Bryant Sargent and Margaret Gold. The Sargent and Gold were from Caswell Co NC and came to Russell Co in the late 1700's. Here are the spouses for a couple of the Sargent children that you did not have
Elijah Sargent b: 1777, m. Elizabeth Horton
Stephen Jr. Sargent b: 1789 in Caswell Co., NC d: 1864, m. Amy Payne Ware.

I also have the same information on Rachel Sargent and Lawrence Van Hook. Rachel Sargent, w/o Lawerence Van Hook, was the daughter of Stephen Bryatt Sargent of Caswell County, NC. As many of the children of Stephen and Margeret Sargent's children later moved to Russell County, Va Stephen and Margeret followed.
Stephen B Sargent's will can be found on line at the Russell County
Web site, in which he only names only a few of his many children. Item 5 makes his unnamed children equal heirs to his named children. He does not name Rachel in his will. But, he names his son Ephraim
Sargent and Abraham Fuller (son-in-law) as his Exec. Rachel, as a daughter is proved by the will of Lawrence Van Hook which is also online at Russell County when Lawrence Van Hook names HIS LOVING BOTHER-IN-LAWS, EPHRAIM SARGENT AND ABRAHAM FULLER, his exec;
Also, Rachel, not named in her fathers will, did recieve payment in
the loose probate papers of Ephraim Sargent at one of the settlement
hearing. William Sargant, h/o Lucinda "Lucy" Horton, was another
child not named in the will which recieved payment from the settlement.
