Questionable Information Found
As mentioned in the citation of the Preble Genealogy, this information about Stephen appears to all belong to a different Stephen. Unfortunately when combined with the lack of records for the data on all the siblings, it raises questions about all the data for Jeremiah's family that is found in this source.

[Note: This appears completely incorrect. There is a baptism of a Stephen Gore in 1778, but he is a son of Stephen. The son of Jeremiah is not baptized until 1790, on the same day as his sister Lucretia. It seems highly unlikely that a birth in 1778 would wait to be baptized until 1790 when other younger children are baptized inbetween. Further the death 12 Sep 1835 (not 1833) corresponds to a Stephen Jr and is buried in the same tomb as Stephen b. 1746 suggesting that also belongs to the son of Stephen. The previous baptism for a child of Jeremiah is in 1786 so if we assume Jeremiah's son Stephen was born between 1786 and 1790, he was too young to marry Mary Thayer in 1801.]
