Linen manufacturer - employer. 1895 - Granted probate for the will of his father, jointly with his brother. Linen manufacturer. 1904 - Listed in Kelly's Norfolk Directory as a linen manufacturer in North Lopham. 1905 - A "Mrs Beales" is listed as the owner of two tithe plots in North Lopham, c/o Stephen Beales (wife/mother?) (NRO: PD 120 35). Stephen listed as the owner of plots 113, 114, 115, 116, 150, 151, 197, 202, 112, 110, 111, in North Lopham. (NRO: PD 120 35) 1908 - Listed in Kelly's Norfolk as a linen manufacturer in North Lopham. 1915 - Died, aged 66. His wife was later buried with him - two headstones on a double grave.
