"Stephen (3), b. June 26, 1688; d. Aug. 7, 1750 in Methuen; m. Mary Frye, about 1715; probably the daughter of Sam (2) Frye and wife, Mary (2) Aslebe, b. 1677; she m. 1st, Joshua Stevens (son of John (2))who was drowned in he Merrimac, 1712; they lived awhile in Chelmsford where he was probably a trader; sold 1719; returned to Methuen and lived there until death."
