    Mrs. Stella A. Denner, 84, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 23, 1986, at SomersetCommunity Hospital. Born March 21, 1901, in Stonycreek Township, she was adaughter of the late Campbell and Mary (Bent) Watkins. Preceded in deathby husband, Russel D.; four brothers; and two sisters. Survived by sons,Ray, at home; and Eddie C., married to the former Sarah Stahl, Friedens RD2; grandchildren, Mrs. Timothy (Suzan) Brant, and Eddie L., both ofSomerset; and step-great-grandson, Eric. She was a sister of Walter,Friedens RD 2. Lifelong member of Shanksville United Methodist Church andvarious church organizations. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.Friday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,Stoystown, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.Robert R. Slack. Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
